Tools required for this task: (See pic. 1)

Checklist

Pot of warm water (just under boiling point)
Scissors
Tape measure
Hole puncher (if cutting your own strap)
Impact drill
Hammer or rubber mallet (optional)
Gloves

Submerge the straps in a pot of hot water for 5 minutes before installation. To protect your hands, we recommend wearing gloves. When ready, use tongs (optional) to handle the straps. Install each strap immediately after removing it from the water, as it will cool and harden quickly

Step one: Secure one end of the strap to the frame

Push the rivet into both strap holes (if you purchased precut strap with aluminum clip or grommet, they will already be inserted on both sides). Insert the rivet into the hole of one side of the chair frame and if necessary use a hammer to tap it in. As shown in
